Shaving my head..
Hey guys, I have a personal request. My husband was diagnosed with leukemia almost two years ago, and in March we'll both be shaving our heads for cancer research. If your hair is long enough, you can donate to Locks of Love (they make wigs for kids).
Best hopes for you. Our lab was originally a hematology lab working on leukemias; it evolved into medical genetics, long story.
I heard about some Jr. High school kids who shaved their heads when a pal was in chemo.
