So Where Were all the Corgis in The Pacific NW Today?

I bet many in this Pacific Northwest corner of the country were wondering  why their neighborhoods were so quiet today.  There was no barking coming from yards or houses as the unsuspecting passed by.  Silence. What could be wrong?  This is not normal.  Who is around that will alert us to the presence of strangers or squirrels, or blowing wind if not for the always on guard corgis. Will our neighborhoods be safe again.

Never fear, on this one day a year, all the corgwyn gather in disguise to patrol the very lake called Green.  The spooks here must be driven away and replaced by the irresistable, rerepressible, always adorable beasts.  All will be normal tomorrow.

Biggest Halloween Corgi Costume Parade in Seattle History happened today.  I swear all the corgis in the area were here.  The local news had a reporter.  I hope I can link and you can enjoy some pictures.

John, that cardi on wheels skis also. Last winter when they received some snow on Whidbey Bobbi put skis on his wheels and took some video of him.  I believe you can find that on cool2bcorgi website. She also has video of him barrelling through the trails of south whidbey state park. Not much can stop that dog. Pretty amazing.

My favorite costumes:

One fellow -- a cardy on wheels -- was a firetruck, complete with ladder and hose.

There was Thing 1, Thing 2, and Thing 3 (who did not want to be left out).

"In this box are three things, look inside and see,

There is Thing One and Thing Two and also Thing Three..."

I can't believe I missed this again this year!

And did I see Al and Gwynnie in the slide show?
