We are loving this puppy! She has adjusted to our home perfectly, she is playing hard, learning to have quiet time and nap time in her playpen and sleeping all night in her crate next to the bed. Training is integrated into her whole day, she has a beautiful sit, although she is not motivated by training treats as much as tiny, tiny bits of cheese. She is quite strong-willed, as I expected, and immediately decided my 6 year old son was HER play toy, joyfully stealing his socks and herding him on the first day. He is a very calm boy by nature and is quickly learning how to teach her to play appropriately and earn her respect. The teenagers are used to dogs and are doing great with her. Hubby never thought he could love a dog so much, he is completely smitten with her! The ferret is not so sure about the doggy kisses on his head and decided to steal all Story's tennis balls from her toy basket to show her who is really in charge! Of course they are separated and are slowly being introduced when they are both held or when Forrest (ferret) is in his cage (he is very, very curious and is already dog-friendly). Story rides in the car quietly in her crate, I'm doing just short drives right now to avoid tummy upsets. She spent Tuesday afternoon at my school after the kiddos were released and met lots and lots of people who fell in love with her sweet face and adorable Corgi-butt. Tomorrow is her first vet visit. Oh, and housebreaking? She is awesome!!

My husband never thought he could love a dog as much either as when we got Lemmy haha!
Best wishes!
