To Keep Him a Stud or to Not Keep Him a Stud...

That is the question!

My male Corgi, at 8 months old, is already acting pretty stud-like. I eventually wanted to get a puppy out of him so I have one of his offspring. BUT he has a tendency to mark his territory... in the house too. And when around some female dogs he gets all giddy and excited. He listens well, and is such a love bug but...

Should I just go ahead and do myself a favor and get him neutered?

Leave breeding up to the professionals, not just anyone should breed puppies, there is ALOT, that goes into breeding.  Money, lots of it, experience, knowledge and your female could die giving birth, its not easy.  Listen to your instincts and get him neutered!!!  I agree with Melissa a 100 percent as well.

GET HIM NEUTERED! You are not a breeder, don't bring more puppies into this world. There are already WAY too many homeless pets. Yeah, you want one of his puppies, but what are you going to do with the other 6 or 7 puppies? Get a half-brother or sister instead. Leave the breeding to the breeders. *stepping off my soapbox now*
