We have had two classes so far and I am seeing progress! It is too soon for it to help with the "episodes".  However the first day we went he was terrified of the other dogs and spent most of the walking part of class trying to run from them. This class he was fearful when we walked in but quickly ignored them. He even had some very close passes with other dogs and stayed focused on me!  With the exception of stay he has all the basic commands down. Now to teach him the hand signal for Dont Eat Your Bother!
