Trying to find this guy a home/He's a good boy

10 month old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Neutered, current vaccs., crate trained, has had obedience training, good with other dogs, friendly.  He is a very smart boy, has a resource guarding issue. This can be managed with the right person. He has been living with me for about 4 weeks now and has shown no signs of guarding or aggression due to my structured household. He could be a competition (agility, herding, obedience) prospect with the proper training. No small children due to this nature and prefer fenced yard. Must be knowlegable with Corgi's/Herding breeds. Serious inquiries only! Call Cathy 978-432-1235.

I have met this dog. I had him for a time but I couldn't  keep him because I have two corgis of my own one of whom just recently went blind and is not adjusting well. This gal is a breeder (she bred him)who is just trying to place this dog with someone who can give him the training he needs.   I had this dog in my household and he's trainable in fact I was making progress with him but unfortunately had to give him up because it was too much for me.  Any interested parties should give this gal a call.  Please serious inquires only this poor guy has been bounced around enough.

He doesn't belong to me. I took him for a time but couldn't keep him because I have two corgis one of whom is blind. Three dogs just became too much for me.

He's located in Rowley Massachusetts. Here is the link website for the breeder and all his information.

The website is www.nordostenkennel.com his information is located on the courtesy listing page see the left column.

FYI serious inquires only. He was bred by this breeder who does Corgis and German Shepherds. He was purchased from her as a pup  but was allowed to get out of control and given no boundaries by the new owners and subsequently she took him back. She wants to place him with someone who knows the breed and understands  and knows what a "resource guarder is". This behavior is needs to be addressed.

My co-worker will be calling you this morning. He's an awesome guy with lots of dog experience.

I'd take him in a heart beat but I'm currently caring for 3 dogs and a toddler :( Where is he located? I know a few corgi owners who may be intrested

I've forwarded your post to a co-worker who wants a corgi and just recently relocated to the Boston area. Fingers crossed.

Yes he is, his name is Cooper very smart and catches on quickly. But be advised his  "resource guarding issue"  needs adressing. He's young and this behavior can be corrected with the proper guidance and training.
