So, in the last month Camden has celebrated his first birthday, came down with some sort of eye infection that the doctor could not figure out, but the meds did fix the problem. I thought everything would be good to go until September for his yearly vaccinations... Guess not.
My poor puppy started limping late Thursday night. I checked his rear left leg, and he showed no signs of pain on contact. I restricted his movement through the weekend, and he was recovering when I took him to my parent's house on Monday. He wasn't limping anymore, just favoring the leg a bit. My mother & I checked his paw (keeping him still in order to check myself is not a viable option) and it looked like he may have cracked a callus on his paw. Not a big deal.
Well, early this evening (after the vet closed), he started limping again. Time to make an appointment to see the vet.
I'm hoping it's something minor. I feel bad- he's a very energetic dog who wants to run, jump, and play for hours on end. I want to take him to the park again, but not until we know what is wrong and he is feeling better...
I'll update again once I have some answers.
