So over the past days I have welcomed a furry little angel into my home. I thought I had my puppy proofing sealed tight, but I quickly learned otherwise.
Sweet little Lola was my birthday gift, and what a wonderful gift she is. She even came with an additional present, fleas! I can't be too upset because she came from a farm and is healthy overall. Called the vet and was told to try a dose of capstar and frontline. She seemed to have improved greatly. It breaks my heart to isolate her from our other animals but we literally can't afford to let it spread.
She has a wonderful personality and is as sweet as can be. She is already herding me around, I'm starting to think I should have named her Boss instead, haha.
I don't think she had any separation anxiety. She didn't make a sound the almost hour and a half ride home, other than a little whimper when she yawned. So now we're learning about each other and having a good time! First vet visit and booster shots coming up this Friday.
My leisure time is going to be non-existant now. Between school and my little bundle of energy, I don't have anymore lazy time unless we take a nap under the tree :]
