Welcome home, Ein...

It's been a long holiday season. A few weeks before Christmas my girlfriend lost one of her chihuahuas, Lilly. We went to the local shelter every day to look for her, but unfortunately, as of today she is still missing. However there is a bright side to the story. During one of our visits to the shelter a few days before Christmas, I saw an absolutely adorable little brown and white corgi mix who had just arrived and I fell in love with her in an instant. My wonderful girlfriend decided to get her for me for Christmas, so we went to the shelter the first morning she was released for adoption (the 26th). Unfortunately she had just started showing symptoms of kennel cough, so we had to wait another couple of weeks while they treated her. It was very difficult having to wait to long for her, but I'm happy to say that we were able to bring her home last night and she is happily recovering from being fixed. She seems to be adjusting well to her new home and we love her very much.
