What do you think of this little girl?

The previous owner that gave up this Corgi said she was a purebred (Pembroke) and her coloring was acceptable. It doesn't matter as we just love her and she isn't going anywhere, but I'm just curious what other Corgi people think of our Alice? She has all the Corgi mannerisms and really strong herding instincts. She weighs about 30 pounds and has pretty course hair but blows like any other Corgi I've seen. Don't know really what else to tell you about her, but she is quirky! I tend to think she is blue heeler-corg; just wanted some other opinions.

OMG Krystal, how did you come across that website? I hate to see more "designer" dogs, but they are cute! Thanks so much!!!! I'm going to e-mail them a picture of my Alice to see what they think!
As best we know, Alice is about 2 1/2 years old.

I also thought the legs were a little long , but she is so cute ,I dont know what a blue heeler cattle dog looks like but it sounds like it has alot of corgi mannerisms. She doesnt look 30 pounds, she looks smaller in the picture but looks definately like she has alot of corgi in her . How old is she? I am glad she has a good home no matter what mixture she may be,,,,,,,

I doubt she's all Corgi either, I agree with the others' opinions about the blue heeler/cattle dog. Also agree that she's very cute and quite beautiful and definitely a winner! :)

The mottling in the white areas is unlike what I'm used to seeing. 30 lbs. seems big for a female corgi. The legs look a bit longer than usual, and this may be a plus -- may give her more speed. Alice has a good physique for a small dog.
Stick with the training; Ann was posting that she'd considered giving up her rescue of Gizmo in the first month, but sounds like it worked out well.
I've not implemented this yet but I did get the booklet:
Really Reliable Recall
You might be able to get her to leave passersby alone.
Some of the best dogs I see are mixes from the pound. They're all unique. Geneticists talk about "hybrid vigor", and it's a real thing.
