Hi there! I was just wondering if you know, if they will be meeting at that park in redondo beach next sat and sun? Maya is getting her last set of shots today and if she is feeling well, we were thinking about dropping by!

Glad to hear you will be getting another pup from Michele!! I would get another pup also except I have an older dog who couldn't deal with 2 crazy little pups around. I'm sure they will keep you busy....Just get past the first year.

We bought Oatmeal shampoo. I'm pretty sure it's sulfate free, but I will have to double check. We have yet to give her, her first bath. We read that you should wait to she is acclimated first. We have only had her for a wk and a half. So far we have just been wiping her down and washing paws.

Thank you for all the wonderful tips! I have heard about the Comfortis and will have to look into it. We bought frontline, but we noticed she has still been scratching and biting a bit. I haven't found any fleas on her yet.

I have been looking into Trupanion too, because the premium does not increase with your furry ones age like most other insurances. I'm not in any hurry though, so I guess I will keep researching.

We can't wait to take our little Maya to corgi playdates, but she's only 3 months. 1 more month to go and you will definitely be seeing us!

Thanks for the tip on the Bob-A-Lot. Sounds great! Anything to keep them occupied for a while. I'm so happy you are getting another puppy from Michele. I would get another one too but I have a 10 yr old Aussie mix that is Callie's best buddy. He has been a real help training her. I don't think we have room for a third dog right now. Best Wishes training Ollie.

Hello, we also have a pem from Great Basin Corgis. She is a 6 month old black headed tri. Ollie sounds like a sweet heart. What is a Bob-a-lot? We may need to get one... Callie says hope to hear from you...

Ollie is growing up fast! Lifting his leg - gotta love it...last time Lucky tried it (he's the crippled one) he fell over! It was so funny, he was trying to mark where my brother-in-law's HUGE dog had gone. I still have the first baby tooth that Odie lost!! He lost it at doggie day care, of course, but they saved it for me.

Sounds great, have fun with it! When we got our first corgi, we had 3 cats and decided that he needed to know he was a dog, so we took him to doggy daycare 1/2 day a week as well as puppy training at the same place (sounds a lot like the place you have found) He loved it, and so did we. My elder dialysis patients thought I had lost my mind, taking my puppy to doggy daycare!! I am sure that Ollie will have a good time and learn lots, let me know

I think I told you about using the coffee table to teach the "down" My husband says that the teacher of the class had us do it because it was easier for Us, not the dog! I thought it was because corgis have short legs, we both could be correct, it was 10 or more years ago. I looked, but could not find that one class paper...go figure. Good luck with your training.

We agree, corgis are the best! Our first, Odie, was ill and his head atrophied (sp?), his ears filp floped up and down and he was so darn cute! We joked that he was directing traffic with them.
