Thank you! On her profile picture she looks a bit like a wild lion because the collar presses her hair forward. But on some of her other pictures she looks really tiny and thin. That's because I committed the cardinal Corgi sin of shaving her for our South African summer. I know one shouldn't do that and I understand why everybody was so upset with me but she was so much more comfortable.
Wilf looks like such a cute dog. It's unusual to have so much white in the face and it makes him look very distinguished. Good luck with the diet, Believe it or not but I'm actually jealous, Bella isn't food-motivated at all and days would go by where she doesn't want to eat more than a mouthful at a time.
Your fellow is beautiful. This is something that I posted a while back. This has always worked for us. We generally only do this diet for a week or week and a half at the time. Our doggies LOVE the Cottage Cheese and will beg for it--they are not being deprived
We feed once daily at night so what ever your normal feed schedule is substitute green beans and cottage cheese for their nomal kibble or can food. I normally give my female (she is closer in size to Peanut) about a half a can of green beans and about a quarter of a cup of cottage cheese (we use lowfat). If Peanut acts like she is feeling deprived give her a few more green beans they are practically calorie free. Your dog will love it if your corgi is anything like ours. We even continue to give them a couple of "cookies" (medium size milk bones) as that has become a part of our fun time. We walk them just a little extra - maybe an extra 10 minutes a day and you will be suprised at how quickly you start seeing that waistline again. We normally are able to go back to our normal slighly downsized diet withing 7 days. Sometimes we have to do this once a year or so with our male. Our female is skinny minnie but begs for the cottage cheese when she smells it so cottage cheese for all!!!! Good luck!
i should have clarified that we do not give kibble when we are doing our green been cottage cheese regm. however we continue to give them their milk bone treats 2 in the morning and two in the afternoon.
Regarding your questions on "fat corgis" - Green bean diet. They are high in fiber, low in calories and great fillers. I mix a 1/2 cup of dry food with 1/2 can of green beans (with no sodium) twice a day. You can use mixed vegetables, also, but the corn and carrots have a lot of calories.
Yeah 11 is my favorite too. We just got another 6 inches or so last night!!! it's soooo pretty, like i dont want to go out and mess it up lol. Ill take more pics and post them on my page... keep watching for them :D
That's it Cumberland Rings. My mouth is watering. I had a butcher in Northampton that was a winning sausage maker. I would happily drive 15 to get my dinner.
Oh I love him, Wilf, is beautiful! And was even born like Maizy, on April fools day! (LOL) You and I should celebrate their b-days together! They grow up so fast! (cry-lol)
Why thank you very much he is a good looking little bugger and he knows it. Wilf ain't no slouch either. I used to live in Leicester and if I remember correctly Lancashire sausage is the round sausage I loved to make bangers and mash with.

Thank you very much. Wilf has a very sweet face.
How in the world did you get him to live with 6 cats.
I have 3 and Race is afraid of them.
