Hope your day went well! give me a call and we will plan on when we could get together. I can't find the card with your house phone # and I saved the wrong number for your cell GRRRR. it is he way things are going the past 2 weeks. I REALLY need some puppy breath thereapy!
GOOD MORNING! I confirmed that I will have tomorrow and tuesday off. I have plans to sleep in tomorrow, and visiting Steve at 200. That is all i have planned tomorrow, and I have nothing planed on tuesday. Just let me know when and where you want to get together.
Now that I am reading your post from yesterday with fresh Eyes I realized that you told me where you are going to by your next food. Where do you buy your current food or the others you mentioned? HAve fun at petsmart! talk to you later. Juel
That sounds wonderful! I should know no later than tomorrow morning, (Hopefully) what my day off schedule will be. But I got on the wrong side of my boss last night. ( I stood up to him, when he was being rude demeaning , LONG STORY!) I might be scrubbing toilets HAHA
Thanks for the info! i fully intend to take pictures, but I have no way to upload them to the internet. I can't do it at work :( Which vet in arcata, or where are they located? I'll have to go check it out! Hope you and Timmy are surviving the smoke! At this point I think I have monday and tuesday off would you be avaiable to get together? I know it is short notice but thought I would try. Take care! Juel
Hello! whew it got busy yesterday! I made an apointment with steve to see the puppies on monday afternoon. YEAH! I have a question: what kind of food do you feed Timmy, and would you recommend it for Rusty?
Thanks for the info. I've not heard of rally obedience. Question? How does one get a photo in the box? I sent one to the e-mail but not sure how to do it.
they are going to evaluate whether or not a new smaller clamp should be placed...considering the sharp agonizing pain it causes him, I would say they should do it, but thays medical for you....if its not going to kill him, they probably won't allow it.
actually, luck would have it that alaska air goes from lax to eureka/arcata directly!! and they allow pets in the cabin for $100 fee, and the carrier for my cats fits their size guideline too. AND the flight is only about an hour, so I imagine it wouldn't be TOO traumatizing...all reasons why I've decided its ok to fly with her (before, I didn't think it wise to, due to her age) but, we will make it happen. I will have a plushy toy for her and water as well so we should be good to go :) I'm sad my husband can't go, but he has been wanting some 'guys time' so I said he can do that the day I'm gone :)
thanks for the spay info...man, its like steve said...our breed is so rare, its all pretty much by word of mouth that we learn what is best for their health.
well, good news and bad...my husband isn't super sick, but we've been told it wouldn't be recommended for us to take such an extended road trip to get the pup - his other kidney has grown to compensate for the loss, which is normal, but the clamp may have to be adjusted since it's poking his only kidney. his internal organs are quite large (he's 6'2") so this can happen sometimes, but taking an 11 hour road trip and risking him being in pain, then far away, isn't a good idea. so, it looks like i will fly up to get petunia, but i checked with some airlines, and it won't cost too much $...in fact, we will save $ on hotels, gas, food, etc. if i just make it a one day fly up and back deal, AND i can get up there the day i promised steve i would be there, anyways.
now, what would your opinion be about the crate for the flight? i have 2 - a large one that i bought for her to be trained in, and one for my cats...the one for my cats is 11"x17"x24" - which is allowed in the cabin with me on the flight. do you think she would fit in something so small?? or, should i bring the larger one, and put her in the animal cargo? i'd rather have her with me in the cabin, but if she will be crammed, i won't put her through that. i imagine her being as big as my biggest cat, and he fits ok in it...AACK!!!
actually dunno what happened - was july 4th and I looked at my finger and it was horribly swollen (maybe the couple of beers I had earlier came into play as to how I didn't feel myself initially get hurt) but I'm more upset about having my wedding ring cut off!!! *sigh* better that than my finger I suppose. I think the timing turned out well though, with pushing back getting the pup...it was SOOO loud and rowdy in my sister-in-laws neighborhood, I'm sure Petunia would have been very scared. at least next 4th, she will be bigger and hopefully won't get too jostled. :)
Good morning! I was just on Steve's website and there are pictures of your visit, I only recognized you by the side of your head! It sounds like I will have sunday and monday, I think i am going to see if steve or that other breeder in arcata would be available for a visit. I need a little puppy therapy
