I'm glad I could be helpful. I absolutely hate it when I find a flea, but I figure it's just part of having dogs in my life! =) Luckily, with monthly flea applications, it's very rare I ever find any.
yeah it is a challenge, we bring our flash light during our night walks. It is very important to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't ingest funky things :) Good luck!
You probably could use a regular saline solution but what I have is made specifically for dogs. You should be able to get one at any pet supply store. I think I got mine at PetSmart ans it's called Clean Eyes by Gold Metal Pets. I just sit Finn in front of me with his back to me and hold his head under the chin kind of around the snout with one hand and with my other hand put in the solution. Unlike human eye drops, you are not just trying to get one drop in. It works best to flood the eyes so the drops run out that way if there were any foreign debris in the eyes (dirt, dust etc) it would rinse out of the eye. Do this to both eyes, dry off your pups face and you're done. It's over quickly so even with an inpatient dog it shouldn't be difficult. Good luck!
No, don't give them any vitamins or supplements. I prepare their meals and make sure they get their daily portion of protein and vegetables and I brush them daily. . .they like how it scratches their backs. . .lol
Thanks for your comment regarding my page. . .Have you seen that infomercial about a hair product called WEN??. . .well after using it on myself for a couple of months, I decided, why not them??. . .it leaves their coats shining, smooth and they love the smell. . . .they told me so. . . .LOL
Hi, Sunni I'm glad you like the page and it's wildness! I didn't grow up in the techie age--no TV till I was in school, no polio vaccine either:-( However, I am now a techno crone (my friends call me that)--and Skeezix and I have great fun messing with computers.
How is Eddy? Miss Daisy comes home tomorrow, and we're all very excited!!! I'll be putting up pictures soon.
