Bella's parents are "Cody front and Center" and "Star Views first and Foremost". Both of them were born in 2007. Your little girls is just so cute. Makes me want to get another puppy! But I will wait a while since have 6 cats at home as well plus Bella. Just keep up with the no biting comand with her and lots of toys and see will stop as soon as some of her adult teeth come in. She is one lucky pup to have such a loving owner.

The biting will slow up as she get older. I was so glad when Bella stopped. Puppy's are so cute nd Quixote is adorable. I miss the puppy days sometimes but really enjoy the fact that she is completely training and has passed her CGC test. We are taking a break right now but will probably get into agility after the first of the year!

Tucker knows sit and stay well. There are a number of places outside and in my house he isn't allowed in yet, but I'm briefly able to leave a door open and tell him to stay without any worry of him coming in. Down is still hard for him, he doesn't like shake, and he will only come if a treat is involved. I've been slacking on his trick training, but sit and stay is enforced many times throughout the day,

Tucker will sometimes watch Delp, the bearded dragon, in his cage. I'll often have the two outside while I'm gardening. Delp in his outside cage, and Tucker on a leash. He pretty much ignores the snakes, when I have them out, but I do tell him to leave it. Other than that, I havn't interacted him much with my other animals.

Glad to hear your vacation was a success. So Bowser is not a fan of holding still, but he is now getting used to letting us trim his nails and file them, under the condition we give him treats and talk nicely to him during the whole process. I also practice holding his paws daily and play with his ears and open his mouth for a minute just so he gets used to the idea of someone handling them. The Vets love Bowsers behavior and he hasn't cried once during the shots. Doesn't fuss and ive yet to see any actual aggression from him in any way. He tends to greet people and get over excited. He is fearful of other dogs barking. He does not enjoy the bath, when i try to run the water, he runs very fast and it takes me about 5 mins to catch him. Potty Training is tough, he will always pee on the carpet if he does not see the potty patch around. He does always Poo on the potty patch. Since his shot series is complete we will start taking him outside now to try to get him used to going outside to potty. Let you know how that goes.

Another thing, If you do decide to use Coins in a Can, make sure you do not show the puppy your shaking it, so that she does not associate you with the Sound.

Hahah thats so cute, the water bottle i guess is helping you even if its the opposite effect. Considering the waterbottle crinkle scares your pup. I would assume then that a Can filled with coins would be highly effective in discipline measures.

Has your little gal learned any New Tricks? I started creating trick routines for bowser. He loves these ZUKE mini's Chicken flavored treats. Up until recently he was only semi motivated by treats. Once i switched to these new treats, he does EVERY trick in the book just for 1.

Hi, Quixote! Bowser got to see photos of you today and he gave us a lovely corgi smile.

I Noticed you had a Bite Problem in another thread. At first Bowser was very aggressive about biting. In a Stern Solid Grunty Voice i say "No Bite" kind of like an angry parent dog and give him an angry facial expression, then once he stopped biting, i would make him sit then praise him for a good sit.

Keeping the little ones from biting us by misdirecting alot of their chewing energy to different toys helps alot. Also keep them occupied with learning tricks when you have their attention.

Your Tone of voice is very important when using No BITE. My GF would say No bite in a nice tone and well he continued, since then she has made a discernable difference in her TONE so he understood what he was doing was bad.

Also since Quixote is Bowsers sister, have you tried taking an empty water bottle with label and cap removed. and letting her play with it. Tucker (Chris Lemley's puppy our puppies brother) apparently has the same love of playing with empty water bottles. It consumes alot of time for the dog. they love the plastic crinkle sound.

Anyhow Good luck with the bite situation.

sabrina is ajusting very slowly to the new pup . she has her days when she wants nothing to do with him and day where she is curious of him . she if finaly starting to play with him . i think the reason she is taking so long to a just to him is becouse she came from a puppy mill and my dad think some one abused her when she was a puppy

Tucker's ears seems like the are on the verge of finally standing up. I havn't looked into different dog food for him yet, so far I've kept him on Purina Puppy Pro plan, what Kim had him on. I've also been supllementing that with yogart, which Kim reccomended for his ears. I've never heard of puppy vitamin gel, I'll have to look into that. Tucker is extremely friendly to other people and other dogs. He isn't intimidated by big dogs one bit. That's all he has seen! I bet our dogs have tons of similarities.

I havn't introduced Tucker to any of my other animals yet. I figure he'd be too rough with them at this age. I'm not sure if he is really aware of them yet. Though I know they are aware of him, heh. I noticed Quixotes ears have been up for sometime now, about how old was she when that happened? Tucker's are still down. He's a late bloomer. :P

We've been having a cool summer, but the next week or two look to be warmer.
September can start getting cooler, but it's my favorite backpacking time.
