I really loved your pictures of Bear. What an adventurous life he lives! I can bet that Bear is a tri-colored corgi and Tibetan Spaniel mix. Below is a pic of corgi/tibetan spaniel mix with a summer cut and also a full breed Tibetan Spaniel....

Bear and Trunks do have similar faces, just Trunks has white instead of brown markings.

My first german shepherd who traveled extensively with me throughout the country had the distinction of peeing in 34 states and four countries in her life time!!! LOL Looking at your pictures is a reminder of the trip of a lifetime for me many years ago when I took off three months and went from coast to coast and back again. Ahhhhhhh, the memories. Thanks for sharing
