Hi Lauren I am from the Boynton Beach area. I some times come up your way to the Juno Dog Beach. Do you take Winston there? Very cute pictures of him.

Hi Lauren we hae a get together every few weeks at my house in Loxahatchee. I have a fenced in 2 acre yard and we have a couple of other fluffies come over but a "regular" haired corgi is welcome too. Have you heard about the corgi picnic in Palm City in Nov. Last year there were over 100 corgi's there.
Hi Lauren, Thank you for your kind words about my Cyberfox. We live in Lantana, just 30 minutes south of you. Your little guy Winston is adorable. If you have any questions about corgis, I'll do my best to help you.
Hi Lauren - I haven't been to the Center St. Place. I use my vet tech from Harmony when I go out of town - I work from home so my dogs are always with me. I've seen a couple pembrokes at dog beach in the past - usually on sat am around 9. also, Luna does her training at Lucky Dog sports club (thru harmony animal hospital) they do a great job!)
hey Lauren - I've got 2 cardigan corgi's - which means they have tails and are a bit bigger than the pembrokes. My 5yr old b/w male is Kai and my yr old girl is Luna, her coloring is called a blue merle which means she kinda looks like a dalmation on a bad day. We go to dog beach a lot, Luna has to run every day - but my Kai has been taking it easy lately. I see you have a puppy - how cute!
The nice thing about a Corgi is that they are eager to please and learn quickly. Nipping is just such a natural way for dogs to play with each other so it is good to work on this early. Love the name Winston btw. We are going through all of this with our new little guy as well.
there have been a couple forums on that issue, you might look back a bit. Some very knowledgable people on this site when it comes to Corgi behavior. Nipping is a tough one and important to stop. I always make a big noise and say "ouch" when the pups would nip. It startles them into stopping. Then I say "no biting" Repeating if they start again. If we aren't making headway we stop playing...wait a while and then try playing again. After a while they make the connection. This has worked for me, but you might find more techniques on the forums. I've learned a lot on this site and have really enjoyed my time on-line.
Hi Lauren, Bill Gotthelf is quite active down south, he even travels all the way up to NC for the annual corgi picnic with his 3 fluffies. We had a picnic in Melbourne last year and we had 100 corgis at the event, check out my video :)
