Thanks for the comment on Sami's picture. Your girls are soooo beautiful. gives me high hopes, for sometime next fall we will be getting either a brother or a sister for Sami. Couldn't even imagine getting one from anyone but Wendy. The breeder we got Sami from. We will all be making the trip back east, over 3,000 miles round trip, to pick the new baby up. I'm so excited to meet her in person and have Sami see all her relatives. Again thanks for the comment.
Lol, I am driving everyone crazy, my girlfriend is the only one that is as excited as me. I have everything ready and it is almost heart breaking seeing an empty crate in the house
Thank you for the hello! Finn has totally won me over =) Lavern and Shirley are supppper cute!! and what great names. They look related! I've been enjoying watching Finn's color change as she gets older, did/are Lavern and Shirley changing much?
When we were home while she was recovering, we had Nibbler on a leash because she is very energetic. Even with the leash on sometimes she'd attempt corgi laps around my ankles! Crazy puppy. Today was the first day we could take off the leash and collar and boy is she happy! I totally know what you mean about the corgi personality. If I'm having a hard day at work I just think about my soft silly puppy and it makes me feel better :). They really are fantastic dogs.
Hi! I'm so glad you had the pro collar for laverne's spay surgery. I found out about it from one of your pictures. Nibbler had the plastic collar from the vet, but she kept getting stuck to the ground because of how short she is! So I went and bought the pro collar and it is soooo much better. Thank you!
Did Laverne & Shirley come from the same breeder/parents? Are they "blackheaded" tris? Laverne seems to have kept more black than I'd expect -- or maybe her pattern is still changing?
Al had a lot of black on his face/ears as a pup; now he has none. Gwynn kept only a little. The black frame is dramatic.
Gosh, beautiful dogs.
i just read the art of racing in the rain and i thought it was amazing!
i love that the dog is telling the story. another good book is the curious incident of the dog in the night. and im currently reading "dont lets go to the dogs tonight" both are very good.
Well hello neighbor! Ashton (He's a Nov '08 pup) and I just live a little down the road from you in Moses Lake! We visit Wenatchee quite a bit for shopping, doctor visits and random day trips. Hopefully someday we will all cross paths for corgi visit! Take care!
Aw, Laverne has similar coloring to Spunky! She's so pretty, makes me even more excited to watch Spunks grow up. The last time I was this giddy and excited and impatient was when I was 8 years old and counting down the days til Christmas!
Bindi has been at 16 and holding now for a couple of months... and compared to the other corgi's at the dog park, she looks like a mini! I suppose she still have some time to grow, so I won't worry too much. :)
You know it's funny, I thought we were already friends, because I remember you and I talking about how Bindi and LaVerne were born just a couple of days apart, but I guess we never were! :)
So, here's a quick question for you - how much does your little girl weigh now? I think Bindi is on the small side, so I thought I'd compare with another baby her age.
Yeah, try that hike up Earl Peak, then you can traverse off eastwards to a little pass, make a loop route esp. if you stash a bike at the road. We've done all the hikes south of US2, including Big Jim Mtn. Go to wta.org and search Trip Reports for "Cascade Liberation Organization", that's us. I really like the Chiwaukum country, White Pine Creek, Wildhorse Creek, Frosty Pass, Ladies Pass; corgi-friendly terrain but look out for snakes (Debbie Landry told me somebody almost lost one of her pups to a snakebite, camping, early summer, rattlesnake, pup got sick but pulled through, OH!). The country up Chiwawa River Rd. is another world; we've done the loop over Little Giant Pass, up the Napeequa to High Pass, out Buck Creek twice -- preferred habitat of the rare Pacific Alpine Corgi (a.k.a. Pembroke Welsh Marmot).
