Gwynnie's glad you enjoyed her photos. The corgicicle is not just for photos ops; late summer can be hot on the dry open ridges above timberline, and dogs can't sweat and can get heat stroke. She's a cool corgi:

We did get our dog in Ellensburg, but not from the same person. We got Nia from a woman that moved over to Eburg from the Tacoma area. When I saw her I fell in love with her - really didn't need another dog , but glad we have her.
We won't know until next weekend if Lorena is available for you or not. We will let you know as soon as the people in front of you make their decision. Have you thought about getting a male? Some times two females can squabble at times. When we leave we need to keep the girls separate. We have returned to find evidence of fighting before so they are not together if we are not at home. We had a third female for a period of time and it was even harder. Some of that is because they are not spayed - but some people believe that two girls or even two boys together can be a problem. Any way - just throwing that out there. You know best what you are looking for. I'm sending this from my blackberry - so sorry for any typos. I'm just starting to get the hang of this little phone.

I had got on a waitting list from a breeder that lived in Louisiana for a year and his puppies were just born in January. I was gonna get first pick of the pet puppys. I was trying to find one here and then there was spartan. He was like 30 minutes from where I lived. I think God answered my prayers. I too was thinking Corgi every morning and every night. Looking at all kinds of info on the breed and Pictures. I still can't believe I finally have one. I'm hoping to teach Spartan Agility when he gets older. Right now i got him potty trained and the sit command but, the down command has been kinda difficult to teach.

Did you have to put tape on Laverne's? It took me awhile to find Spartan and it's kinda crazy to me that in my whole life I've never wanted anything so bad until I saw a Corgi and started reading more about the breed. I will take some more pictures this weekend and post em up.
