I cannot go pick up the Fluffy as I was led to believe due to interstate regulations with HSUS -- I am only a foster home for the Fluffy Cardi. To take the dog home and then adopt out to someone else would be "selling" the dog, according to Kansas -- and possibly all other states as well. All the Corgi rescues I work with are full and have no place for him, so I can't even go pick him up on their behalf right now!
The Fluffy Cardi is still safe for the next couple of days -- please feel free to contact the HSUS in Dodge City directly.
Charlie and Smokey come from NJ, Charlotte and Bentley live in Manhatty, so I thought it would be easier for them, and Prospect park only has certain dog run hours, but you're right a lot of people do live in Brooklyn. Maybe the run on 7th ave (where is it, like 3rd st... and come to think of it is it on 5th ave actually?) would be better?
Any reason why you chose Tompkins Square Park to do the meetups? Since most of the corgi owners I know live in Brooklyn, was thinking of doing it there. Would love to hear your thoughts on this...
We hear that a lot. We were told she was a purebred when we got her, but she really doesn't seem to be. We just got some pics of her father and he almost looks like a corgi-shepherd mix or something. We thought for sure there had to be daschund in her. Her mother is definitely all corgi though. So Dorgi is the Queen's new favorite breed? I didn't know that. Your corgi is adorable btw. : )
i'd like that let me know when the next corgi meetup is. I live in westchester so nyc in fine, close by ct even. I'd like a puppy..ideally it would be a rescue puppy but i'm sure that's hard to come by. Honestly how bad is the shedding? I've never had a dog before so i'm taking my time doing research. We just melt whenever we see a Pembroke.

May God Speed to this little guy!
Thanks again for arranging such a wonderful event. We were so happy our biscuit treats were a hit with all the 'lil monsters.
The 'Corg' are such a superior race!
Many thanks again and please keep in touch!
We'll let you know how are corgi adoption goes.
Charles
My wife and I are nuts over Corgis, but don't have one yet.
We are looking to adopt a 'corg' (like Star Trek's Borg) in the next few months.
We're wondering if we can attend your upcoming event to frolic around and get more experience in handling the little muffin & steak monsters.
We reside on the East Side.
Our emails are CMajors1@gmail.com and Shira315@yahoo.com
Many thanks,
Charles Majors
