Mac's dad is Ch. 3B's Everybody's Faerie Tail; his call name is "Mickey." Sound familiar? I can check with Robin or Debbie to see how Mac and Abby might be related. If you want to check it out, www.cool2bcorgi.com is how I know Debbie, I'm sure she would think it fun to hear from you too :)

Mac is definitely a gleeful guy -but no sprains or vet visits yet! Make sure that Abby has a very happy birthday...I don't have many photos of it up here, but we had a small party for Mac with some of his friends back in March :)

We know Mac's name so well because we had a big say in choosing it...as a matter of fact, because circumstances united us when he was so young, he's been "Mac" from almost day one! Long before our puppy search even began, we knew we would name a boy dog "Mac" and a girl dog "Apple" if that's what we wound up with. So when photos of the little one-week-old boy wound up in my e-mail inbox, the question right after what kind of temperament his parents had and all the usual stuff about health testing was, "Does he look like a Mac?" I think he does ;) Wish you weren't so far away - it would be great to get the two Faeriesteeds together!

Hi Linda! How cool - another Faeriesteed! We absolutely ADORE Robin and Danny and are so lucky to have found them. Abby is a darling, and I remember when her litter was born (I think)...we went down to meet Mac at a dog show in Virginia around Memorial Day, but Robin's sister Debbie was on "puppy duty"! Yes, Mac is named after the computer...Colin, my boyfriend, is an engineer, and we are BIG Mac people. If you haven't read, Mac's registered name is "Faeriesteed Think Different" ;) Hope to hear more from you soon!

Hi, Linda. Thanks for the welcome! Your Corgi's are so cute (and so are the others, or course!!). We are enjoying Abby--she is the best! I just love her little expressions.
I'm so glad I came across this site:)

Thank you Linda. We are all well - I hope you all are too.

When you looked at our website, maybe you saw that we now have arranged a "fiancé" to my Tina?
If not - you can see him at our puppy page http://www.fromax.se/puppies.html
(roll the page down a bit, because first we show Holly´s mating with a blue Finnish male)

Tina's new "boy-friend" is from Norway (from the same kennel where we bought our "Saga")

And he is a red brindle, as well as Tina, so I hope to have red brindle puppies in November. (And blue/tricolor puppies in September/October after Holly.)

It's very exciting.

Your corgis look as though they have a lot of fun too! A fenced-in yard is nice to have. And a little pool to cool themselves in during hot summer days is also nice.

It took us some time to find our new house in the country side. Our oldest Cardigan Frodo is 5 years old now...

In the meantime it was good to have the summer cottage, although it was far away - 300 kilometers from home (about 200 miles?)

Hi susan, They look happy. It is evident in their facial expressions and their body language in the pictures. I am sure Tina will make a great mom. What excitement that will bring. I Hope to have a bigger place for mine to swim one day. A kiddie pool does not allow for much true swimming-just walking in circles and splashing water is as close as they come.

Hi Linda,

The dishwasher picture is one of my favorites. I have so many more favorites to put on here. We were feeding Lance Iams because that is what the breeder was feeding him. We brought him home in February 2006 and he was born October 30, 2005. Last year Lance stopped eating his food. I called the vet and he said Iams was part of the recall so he said to switch to Natural Balance -- Duck and Potatoe Formula. I bought canned and dry. I started with the wet food because I didnt want him to associate the new food with the old food. He was so excited just smelling the canned food he could not sit still!!!! He was that excited. He has been eating that ever since last year and loving it. It was not like Lance to stop eating his food, because Lance loves to eat. I felt bad, the reason he probably stopped eating it was because it was bad!! Natural Balance Duck and Potatoe Formula is also an allergy formula. Lance has a sensitive tummy and seems to do well on this

Hi again Linda!

We used to live near the big city - Stockholm . So our Cardigans just loved to swim in the lake at our summer house in the north of Sweden. They were truly happy there.

Now we have bought a house in a small city (9000 inhabitants) with nice surroundings, so they can be happy all the time.

And maybe - if we are lucky - we will have our first own litter of baby puppies coming fall. Tina (2,5 years old) wants to be a mother, she says. That's exciting!

please resend response-I cannot locate it. I am not real swift though when it comes to the computer. I just wrote a comment to you and then I think I deleted it. THen again, this may be a repeat. I am much better playing with the corgis than typing on a keyboard.

Yes I did get the message about the traits between the cardigan and welsh corgi's. I sent a response to it, but I am not able to see it anywhere. Did you get the response? I can resend the response if you did not get it.

Thank you for your nice comment to my photos and for your good wishes, Linda!

We are proud of our 5 Cardigans (my daughter Petra and I).

As breeders we of course have to show our dogs. And we will try to make the two youngest ones (Tiger and Holly) into champions one day - just like the three slightly older ones.

Colors of eyes and fur etc. is important in the show rings and for correct breeding, but all Cardigans of good mentality are just as good companions as any "show dog".

So keep on loving your beautiful Cardigan, Linda!

Hey Natalie! Did you get my response to your first posting yesterday? I mentioned the different traits I have with the pemmies and cardi. I think I sent the comment-not for sure.

Hi Linda,

Welcome!! Wow you have the best of both worlds, how cool. Just wondering since you own the pembroke and the cardigan......what is the biggest personality difference you have noticed with yours. I have a cardigan welsh--blue merle...corgi. I know that the cardigan has a tail. They also have a longer body, ears and snout than the pembroke, those are the obvious differences but are there any differences with their personalities? Corgis are awesome.
