Thank you. I love dogs, always have - always will...
I wished I could have a whole bunch. It was a big step for me to get a second dog, before that I always had just one dog at a time.I thought that Monty might feel sad or neglected if I get a second one, but he just loves having a friend around.By the way, your name sounds German - I am from Germany myself.
We are all about animals! I will add you!!! How far from the Ohio line are you? I've always wanted to do a corgi meetup but no one around here has them.
Haha! Aw, well tell them I said "Thanks so much for the compliment(s)!" =) I appreciate knowing! I tell ya, sometimes I really wonder what the heck girls in and around my generation want in a guy! I'm rather picky, but then when I see what a lot girls go after I'm just boggled. Guess it goes back to the example [or lack there of] their fathers gave them huh? ...anyway, I just noticed that Quinn passed away in April... =( So sorry to hear... how did he go? Hope it wasn't painful or long. How's life otherwise? Anything new or exciting going on? Hope all is well.

Aww, my sympathies on your loss of Quinn, Paula. It is so difficult to lose any part of your family!
I see in an earlier post that you work at Rockwells? Love the rhino fries! :) And how interesting...an animal behavioralist. We'll have to chat sometime about my cat and how nuts the puppy has made her! Have a great evening and it would be great to get together some time with the corgis! :)
Yo Paula,
I'm thinking about stopping out to TJ's either tonight (Sat.) or tomorrow... as part of my birthday celebration... Should I request you? =) Or will you not be working? =( How's Wookie by the way? lol
Hope all is well!
Your dogs are just beautiful! Yes, I was a little insane to add two such energetic dogs to the household, but so far it has worked out very well. In my case, I have found that the Corgi/Aussie pairing works very well. They both have similar energy levels and play styles so they make perfect playmates! I got lucky with Lyla (Corgi) too because she is super calm indoors. Sky, the Aussie, is Mr Go-Go-Go all the time, but Lyla is usually content to curl up and watch tv with me (even at 5 months old!!). Outside though, that's where all the energy comes out! It's fun to watch them herd eachother. I am so in love with the herding breeds, I don't know if I could ever do anything else!
Hey Paula, Sorry for this UBER-Delayed reply but nope, I'm still in Leola -unfortunately. I'd much rather be in NYC, CA, FL, or just about anywhere else other than Amish Country but oooh well.... =/ such is life for now. I'm sure I'll catch a break sooner or later, it's just a struggle currently. Your Wookie is freakin' adorable!!! Haha, I LOVE his lil' hat and bandanna outfit! =) Soo cute! Kindest regards and hope all well w/you and all your lil' (and big) furry friends/family members! Ein says Woof!
Hi, Paula. Thanks for the note. Wish we could have gone to the PA show, but Skeezix is on furlough from showing till his magnificent ruff grows back in. Because I forgot to ask my vet not to, his ruff got shaved for a blood draw about the end of January . . . sooooo, no ruff/no shows! I was going to have him go to the Cardi Nationals this month w/ my breeder friends, but that will have to wait till next year or not, if we decide to retire (sure wish I could myself--lot more dog, cat and critter time for me if i could!!). Skeez says to tell you all hi and that he really wants a hat like Wookie's. M and Skeez
Your pictures are amazing! You have some of the sweetest looking dogs/cat - looks like a big snugglefest at your house :) I am sure you have lots of fun with them!
Paula: I know what you mean about "nail trimming" and ears. Gizmo hates his nails clipped. I did get (yesterday) one of those "pedicare trimming things" It worked really good and after a few minutes.. Gizmo for once in his lovely little life sat still and let me trim his nails!! a miracle!!
Our Song, mostly sable, also came from a farm where her parents brought in the heffers each night. She is a little herder for sure and very vocal. She herds her step sister every where. We feel very blessed both are not champions but very wonderfull dogs.-------------Dot
