Yes, it tried to get them to come join the fun...I actually w.as just with them up in Mass. for a week visit. The corgis had a great time together

It's so fun to find like-minded corgi owners. Yep, we see God's fingerprints every day. We feel like this new home and little town is a gift of His graciousness... so like him. I need to get out and get some autumn shots.

Do you know what time the picnic starts? I only work until noon that day so maybe I can still make it. Have you made contact with the "Sunshine Corgi club"? It is based out of Vero Beach. I've heard they have a small get-together in a local park once a year. Maybe they would like to have other Corgi events.

Thanks for the welcome! I found out about this site from the people who are having the picnic in Melbourne. I'm so glad she included it in her email! I've been wanting to talk to other corgi owners, but until now there wasn't much out there except info on the breed.

Unfortunately, I'm the only corgi owner I know :( Otherwise I would!

I'm in a group on Facebook called "I own a Corgi!" or something to that extent. I check up on it every now and then to see new pictures, and somebody had uploaded a video of their two corgis playing. There was an ad at the bottom of the video for mycorgi.com, so I went to check it out, and liked what I saw! I mean, you seriously can't go wrong with corgi clubs. ;)

Heya! Yeah, I was at my parent's place in my hometown when I found mycorgi.com. Now that I'm home, all my sofi pictures will be poppin' up. :)

I will seriously consider the picnic.

Well, we really just started a foundation class about 3 weeks ago. We get to meet once a week for an hour, but I work with her outside of class as much as I can. Right now, we're working more on handling, and getting them used to some of the equipment. We really won't get to start working on the jumps and tunnels and things until the beginners class. This is really more to teach me than it is to teach her! :)

You've only had this up for a week???!!!! Congratulations! It looks to be doing really well. (I thought it had been up and running for some time)
My husband lived in San Diego for 25 years before we moved up here to look after my father - he misses it terribly (I miss parts of it too) I never really found it overly friendly down there but, it wasn't really anti-Canadian - just.....off somehow - you know what I mean? Like I didn't fit in - or I was missing something everyone else knew.....I don't know, I never have been able to explain it :):):)
