We are hoping for a spring/summer puppy, and would love one that has the look of Jack w/the solid black back. Black Dog hair doesn't show up as much as white so that'd be better in our household. :) I'm leaning toward a girl... Looking forward to more pictures!! Write me here or at my real email.

I'm thrilled to hear that your considering a spring breeding. The time works out better for us too. Potty training in the winter when it's 0* has little appeal. My other breeder also found that spring puppies tend to be lighter coated. I'm a big believer in the right timing. Bringing Porter home when we did was simply perfect, so am patient that the right pup will be available at the right time.

I am having fun trying to find out what I am gonna register his name as.. It is a work in Progress.. I put this page up as soon as i got up the day after i got Jak and he is the perfect dog to love and Spoil Rotten.. I appreciate everything.. I will Probably take more pics of Jak On Sunday when we take him to the pet store and Show him to the rest of my co workers that didn't get to see him on Wednesday.. I really am so happy about getting jak and the cats are doing much better with him.. I will have to take a Pic of all 9 cats and Jak Sleeping on my bed!!

As you can see from our two I LOVE tricolored pups, especially with the black head. I also love the smaller size. And Chapin has really smooth soft fur so I am thinking that might be the sort of thing you are describing. Cagney's fur is much coarser.
