Heehee! You can just hear what Gonzo is thinking:

"Mom! The weatherman said there's a cold front coming in. First time this year to be under 32 degrees in Texas"

Mom's not listening. Look! Let me put that extra blanket on the bed so Mom will be warm tonight. I got it! Heave! Ho! Heave! Ho! I'm too short. Cant. Get. It. On. The. Bed.

To heck with Mom, maybe I need the extra blanket.

Let me see. If I roll up in it like this I'll stay really warm. Yep. In the blanket now. It's warm in here. Really, really warm. In fact, I'm burning up. I have two coats. Why do I need an extra blanket?

Maybe there's a treat in the closet.
