This is funny. Corgi still paddles even when out of the water. She is all done with therapy. The surgery was a complete success. The Vet is the greatest. A master in his field. Corgi had her last visit to the Vet last monday and received a clean bill of health. Next step? Tooth pulled. She has a severely cracked tooth that needs to come out. A never ending story. But we love our dogs and want the best for them.

awwww hope she's doing better :) My favorite thing about the floaties is when they keep kicking when you pick them up lol. Roxi hated swimming till we vested her for a while.. now she hops in without it. My friends boys like to swim too so we take the three of them down to the water dog park every now and then :)

Im curious to see if Charlie likes swimming.

Hi,
Some Corgis like to swim, most don't because of the shortness of the legs. May I suggest a life vest until she/he can do it on their own. It gives them a sense of security. Good luck and have fun

We have been wondering about the swimming abilities of corgis. We plan to take Twinkie to the lake soon and she how she likes it. We will be close of course. We don't have a life jacket for her. Hope the recovery goes well!

The person with Corgi is a therapist. It really is a beautiful facility. hobnobpet.com in Lakewood, CO. We were lucky to have located that place.

What a work out. Is that you or someone else with Corgi? We have a really interesting rehab facility up here -- on one side, it's for the doggies and on the other, it's for the people. Everyone loves to go there, including the dogs! I love how she just heads for the edges as fast as she can! My little girl loves to swim, she'll lie down in puddles and try to get her feet of the ground, but my older guy only wades. Good luck with the rehab, and Go, Corgi, Go!

Corgis don't usually like to swim. Some do, some don't. Our Corgi for one hates it. That is why she had to have a life vest. Thanks for the comment.

This is adorable. She is working so hard! I hope it helps her get back to 100%. Now I want ot take Tucker to the doggy pool and see how he reacts!
