Miko was flown as a puppy from Taipei to Los Angeles... In the baggage area... 13 hr flight... Didn't know what I was thinking back then but will never put him through the horror again... First time dog mommy.. Poor miko :( I'm sure he was frightened the whole time... Darkness and weird noises...

Sooner or later I will fly them to BC for a vacation. I think they will do much better next time. I mentioned in the forum that next time I will attach an external battery so that it will last the entire flight, but i imagine it will be quite dark, noisy and uneventful, the current footage is 3 hours long and I edited out a lot of boring footage.

Great video Sam. Would you fly them again? My boyfriend and I have been discussing this and I do not know how comfortable I would feel putting my boys on a plane. Poor pup looked pretty nervous. How do you think they did? It would have been really interesting to see the plane take off.

Actually most commercial jets baggage hold are climate controlled, I had the same concern as well, my Northwest Pilot friend reassured me that the temperature is the same as the cabin.

I would have thought that the baggage hold would be too cold for them...

Next:
Canines Without Borders terrierist whistleblowers expose CIA secret prisons by stowing away on extraordinary rendition flights as undercover baggage. International Incident ensues.

Or:
Drug traffickers smuggle 400 kilos of cocaine aboard commercial aircraft. Dog shipped in baggage uses Corgi Mind Control Trick to pacify TSA employees. Plot unravels when dog falls asleep and security personnel recover.

Y'know, Sam, a little photoediting could purport to show flight attendants sneaking into the baggage compartment to offer treats and drinks... I guess an inflight movie would be asking a little much...
