This is a better video for a couple of reasons, he is doing this all on his own with no help, pure instincts to put the herd where they belong

These guys have a lot of natural instincts to herd. Therefore they have to learn where you want to go and what you want done. I like to have them on a leash for a while in the beginning so that they start watching me and what I want the cows to do and I have some control over them. They will get too excited at times and just run at the herd without paying attention to what you are trying to do. Hank has never been on a leash, he has learned from Joey, so I have never put him on leash Katie on the other hand, can get too excited and so she still needs to be on the leash to remind her. Corgis also have a tendency to get in the cows faces sometimes and take them the wrong way so they have to learn to stay behind.. For the most part, they do it on their own, I am no expert dog trainer for sure!!!

How long did it take to get them to do their thing? I'm wondering if it just came natural or if they had to be trained a bit. Amazing dogs for sure!
