Legolas got much closer to the ocean than what Noodles does. Noods prefers the sand over the water and he will stay far away from the water. My husband and I will walk along the water's edge, but Noodles will stay clear up on dry land. He loves going to the beach though and taking your dog to the beach is way more fun than just going by yourselves.
