I never cease to be amazed by people who actually believe dogs have no will or emotion. They simply couldn't be more wrong ! I may have already shared this with you, but Winston who was basically quite passive, would occasionally decide he needed to assert himself a little bit, just so Girlie wouldn't get the idea he was a complete pushover. So, he would walk right up to her while she was chewing on a toy of any kind, and simply snatch it right out of her mouth and walk away. It was as if to say, "See, I am in charge around here, so don't forget it.". Usually, the only way I was aware he'd done that was I'd hear Girlie make a quick bark sound. Then it was all over. Mission accomplished. Now I'm crying because I miss him so much. : (
Joyce, I just washed and dried the sheet on their love seat and had to get Randy off to put it back on then he got back on the love seat. Reese came along and was unhappy that he was in what she considers her seat and gave me a very peeved look. She can be the sweetest thing and very pouty when she is unhappy with him or me. She has no idea that that used to be his seat before she came!
This is the first I've seen of what Reese looks like standing up . . . how adorable. I could tell she had Corgi in her by her face, but now that I see her little front legs, it's even more obvious. She's standing there observing, tail wagging so adorably, and one would imagine she's thinking about how and if she might be able to involve herself in the fun looking pot fetching and play, but to no avail ! HA !
so cute!!!!
