Sheep Herding: working on outruns and distance from sheep

This was our second 15min run of the day so its a little sloppy

That does! Thank you so much :) The 'other half' got into herding after roxi got her cert but he's been lazy and hasn't found a class lol.

LOL Out run are when you sent the dog to the sheep, they are supposed to make a half circle going around the sheep so the dog ends up directly behind the sheep then bring the sheep straight to the Shepherd ( thats me!) we do one at 1:45 but we missed a sheep.

What we are doing in the video is basic ranch work, I want to move the sheep from point A to point B the dog is supposed to stay behind the sheep and keep them moving in whatever direction I go. All sheep have a personal space bubble the dog should keep out of that bubble to prevent them from scattering. So the dog shouldnt be right on the sheeps heals or busting threw the flock : )

I wish I knew what "outruns and distance from sheep" meant but it sure looks like your have a great time! :)
