We have a bunch of trama dogs that come in and have that issue usually you can snap them out of it with a cookie or squeeky toy but if she's not in any pain then they're really isn't anything you can do for it. I'm sure if you go to the vet they can give you a daily pill to help prevent but thats probably about it.

hmmm...start with making adiary about her episodes maybe? Like record the date, time, time of day (breakfast lunch dinner), any environmental triggers like a noise on TV, car honking...See if you can monitor and minimize them or their triggers that way because they don't seem to be putting her in any pain. Have you asked your vet or have you not gone that route yet? Vets can be frustratig sometimes because they never give a straight forward answer but sure do giv eyou a straight forward bill!!

I had a dog that had seizures, and this activity does remind me of what he experienced----but, his were so much worse. I also believed my dog had suffered some type of head trauma at one time. My dog was also a stray and we had no history on him. He also became disorientated when he lay on his back and he would attemp to walk or crawl backwards before he could straighten himself out. He was a small dog so I was very careful not to let him lay on his back or hold him in any position like that. He was put on medications and the seizures did lessen. He was also taken off all people food, and this lessened the seizures too. He lived a long life...and, he seemed happy at most times.
