Hi Geri,
I know this is frustrating. Exercising that leg is of most importance. Is there a doggie spa with a pool near you? Three times a week for a period of 20 minutes each for about a month would be most beneficial. Corgi has a swimming video out there. She got a vest and everything. She hated it but it kept her from limping. If he does not like the leg exercises take him to the pool. Gee, my heart goes out to you, but Sidney will be fine. Give him a couple of weeks. Corgi did the bunny hop for a good month. Keep in touch.

It's easy to get discouraged when I see him still moving in tripod mode. I know Corgi had it done in both hips at the same time so we can't compare recovery. I wonder when I can expect him to use the leg? I'll definitely ask at his checkup on the 24th

Oh my gosh, I just found out about this video! Thank you so, so much! This is making me cry happy tears. It is so good to see how well Corgi is doing. Thank you so much for talking for Corgi and explaining how it all went and what we can expect, and for your wonderful advice. I'm so glad I didn't miss this wonderful video! I am so very very grateful. Corgi people are the best!
