I'm waiting for it tonight. I'm waiting for the bloody vomit. I know she lost another tooth rough housing with our other dog. I only know this because a white Weimaraner can hide no evidence. Also, Freya was happily laying on her back in the kitchen while I was cooking and had her mouth open and I could see the tooth next to the k9 was no longer and bloody.

I have never known a dog to give me so many tells when she was losing her teeth before. I'm kind of concerned that she may have a blood clotting issue, which may make spaying harder. I'm not sure on this, but I think that may be the case.

I'm worried at the moment. I'm going to call the vet to ask about that as well as if I need to take her for an examine before I set up her spay in the end of April.

Bah, I hate being worried. I'm such a worry wart. I'm not sure if the mouth bleeding so freely is an indicator or not, but truly I'm hoping such is not the case. I really don't need the extra worry when she gets spayed as I will be completely bonkers as it is. Do I need a kennel? So many questions and a few hours to wait for them.

Last night I gave her some carrots to chew on. I locked the boy outside and had to hand feed it to her because she would just look at it confused. She's such an odd one. She did the same when I first introduced bully sticks to her--she wouldn't touch unless I was holding it and once she got into the good stuff she didn't need me anymore.

Anyway, I gave her carrots to help any teething pain she may be having because every time I turned around she managed to find a piece of paper and was trying to eat that. She learned that behavior from her big brother--I can never understand why tissues, especially used, would taste good. The cleans ones usually ends up torn to bits on the floor leaving me to clean it.

Tried the webpage but it isn't working...poop. Vet said that they will be removing any remaining baby teeth when she gets spayed and I can test for vWD prior to the surgery. I do so hope that she doesn't have it. So far I'm lucky she doesn't have the epic allergy problems that our Weim has. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it for a while and see how it goes.

Corgis can have von Willebrands disease which is a clotting disorder. There is a test for this that can be performed. I dont recall ever seeing blood while any of mine lost theirs. I think it would make good sense to have this test done prior to a spay surgery. It is also good to know should she have an injury. Make your vet aware of this possibility. http://www.vetgen.com/canine-vwd1.html This is the site where you can learn more about it and order the test on your own. Good luck!
