What methods and tools do you all use to groom your corgi? I've got a furminator and a bristle brush (which I don't really use because the furminator is awesome). But Theo's bunny butt is so...poofy, that he hates it when I try and brush him there. Is there another type of comb or brush that people use for that area? Or should I just tell him to stop being such a baby? The fur isn't matted, but there's so much of it, and it's so fine and soft, that it does tend to bunch. Just wondering what other people do.

A really good tool to groom corgis with is called a "greyhound" comb. This has closely spaced tines on one end and wider spaced on the other. I find if I lift the hair in parts and comb at an angle this well removes the dead hair. Most corgis tolerate it quite well. I also use a tool called a rake, short tines on a t-handle. Works great when using short strokes.
