Welsh Corgi Breeder?
Yes
About My Corgi(s):
MICKEY IS HOME! My red and white Pembroke Corgi is Mickey. He's a rescue dog from South Carolina. He's about 3 years old, we believe. Mickey is friendly, friendly, friendly to both humans and other dogs. He has more energy than you can imagine. Agility is his sport, and chasing soccer balls his favorite activity. His only real fault is a voice that can shatter glass.
What a terrible story with a good ending. I agree -- 30 miles totally suggests someone snatched him up, and I'll be he tried to rescue himself. So glad about the rest -- the posters, the network, the chip, the call, the homecoming. Give him a big Corgi hug from Ethel and Bertie, and maybe we'll all get a chance to meet up some time.
Oh Linda! I'm so happy! We went out for breakfast this morning and saw the sign with the words FOUND written on it! I can't believe it!!!! 30 miles from home???? Tags gone????!!!! That makes me mad! Anyways, I'm glad he's back home. He's not injured or scratched in any way? He must have been very happy to see you and vice versa!
This is horrible news -- I am way down in southern Litchfield Cty, CT, so probably not much help to you. Where was he when he went missing? Do you think he's just wandered off? A neighbor here with a wandering Corgi lost him for 2 days, but he came back under his own speed. I certainly hope that's how your story ends. I wish were nearby enough to drive and search, but our thoughts are certainly with you. But let us know if there is anything we can do down here -- Susan
Hi, Thanks for your message! It sounds like Mickey has been blessed with finding a loving home with you. And I am sure you also feel blessed with him, he sounds like a great dog. Our Jillie is so funny, very playful, so smart and has a spunky personality! She has her own "Corgi" language, she lets us know what she wants. Our two children are in college, empty nesters, so our pets keep us busy!
