About My Corgi(s):
Our Rustolia is a tri-color, female, corgi/shepherd mix with a lovely fluffly fan tail. A young neighbor asked if we "wanted a puppy". We said no. After the neighbor "left" her with us at 7 weeks old, we were going to get her shots and find her a "good" home. We found her a "great" home - ours! We love her totally and completely.

Rustolia Update March 2009

Rusty is now 1 year old and 45 pounds! She is our wonderful little (big) girl. She is certainly showing her ability to think on her own (The Corgi in her), but she still maintains her training (sit/down/stay/come/place/out/leave it/kisses). Rustolia's personality is just wonderful. She is easy going, stable and loves snow & cold weather - yes we have had a little snow & cold weather. Rusty's and her "little" sister, our 9 month old American Pit Bull, (who is 46 pounds) get along very well - training them, then loving them, is the key. Rustolia even understands that when I say "Nala Come", Rusty is not to come, but only "come" when I say "Rusty Come". My daughter may take our Pit Bull when she leaves college but, without a doubt, Rusty stays with us!

Rustolia is now 33 pounds at 5 months old! She is still 13 inches tall but 34 inches long! She is certainly a Corgi MIX! Her left ear has flopped again but this time I am not tapping it up. I see what all the "To Do" is about Corgis & Corgi Mixes - they are absolutely wonderful, smart & oh so very loving!
