Corgis and their lovees are invited to gather at Pony Pasture Park, on the southside of the James River.
It is a beautiful, flat park on the river bank, with big stones to sit on that are a very short walk from parking (or drop off and park). Lots of parking, nature center and bathrooms. I will be there by 5:15pm with Court (in foto) at the site where the parking lot and the river bank meet. Corgis should be on leash but we can decide together how best to spend the time; we can also go to a corner of the park and let them play; other dogs may be there, playing leash free in the water. Owners are responsible to watch out for the dogs...it's an exciting place for doggies and a beautiful setting for humans!...Donations of 1-5$for the Meetup website cost appreciated but not enforced:)!Google/MapQuest Pony Pasture Rapids Park on Riverside Drive, Richmond Virginia.
