It's that time of year again: Our annual corgi costume walk at Green Lake.
Dress yourself up and your corgi.
Meet near the rowing center. This is always a fun event.
Green Lake Small Craft Center Address: 5900 West Green Lake Way N, 98103
We have been training all year with our monthly walks around Green Lake. Start thinking about costumes for you and your dog. At least think about dressing up your shoes as they are what appears in the photos when you own a corgi. Maybe we should all wear orange shoes and orange socks. What do you think?
Let's keep this event fun and safe for all.
Please know your dog. Not all dogs like to be dressed up. You do not need to put a costume on your dog if that would cause unneeded stress. Also, be aware that your dog may not like other dogs in costume. Please take extra care when introducing your costumed dog to another costumed dog. Reactions may be a little different than normal.
PS. the Green Lake Pumpkin Dash in on Sunday not Saturday so I don't think we will run into extra traffic from that. But if you know of any events going on in the area please let others know so we can plan accordingly. Green Lake is a popular place and many events are held here. Traffic and parking can sometimes be problematic. Keep in mind that Woodland Park has plenty of parking just above our meeting spot that can be utilized.

Sorry, never did post the link to this past year's photos. Better late than never:
Oh, yes, I love your little Corgi costume ..... :-)
Oh, this looks like fun. Sure would like to go, but way too far from us. This is in Seattle, right? I love Seattle, but Central Illinois is where we currently live. Hope a great time is had by all and be sure to post some photos for all to enjoy.
