I had received a similar report on the canine flu. That there have been very few cases even in the Chicago area and only the one that came here from Chicago. That dog was quarantined and treated with no other dogs being exposed.
Let's hope the rain is not a problem. It seems like this has been a much wetter spring than usual and my yard and the Corgi's fenced area have been quite muddy. Looking forward to it..............
I talked to the University of Illinois Small Animal Clinic today and they said there have been no new cases of flu in the area. Only the one that was in the newspaper weeks ago. So, the flu should not affect CORGI-CON. However, the weather could be a problem. The web site I checked said there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms for Saturday. Let's hope for better news later this week.

That's great, Kevin. We will all look forward to meeting both of you. My son, Kevin, works for a local dog obedience training facility if you need any help with training your puppy. They are at http://www.jodievees.com .
Good luck with your puppy and we look forward to meeting you.
Both - she will be 9 months the day of the event, and it will be our first event as well!
Kevin ........... My husband, John; my son, Kevin, and I all look forward to meeting you and your Corgi at this event.
Is your Corgi a new puppy or is this just your first event?
This will be my and my corgi's first corgi meetup! Looking forward to meeting you all and your fur babies!
Not a problem, Lisa. :-)
If you hear of anyone else needing a ride, let us know. We are all looking forward to it.
Stephanie, thanks for running the CORGI-CON shuttle service!
Lisa ........... I ran into the lady I recently met in our area with the young Corgi. She is going to ride over with us to CorgiCon if all goes well. She does not have transportation, so we told her we would give them both a ride over to the event.
We plan to go to Wisconsin, too. Had a great time there last year.
