First and foremost, the Park District wants to make the park affordable to everyone, and therefore has lowered the cost of a permit to $20 for residents, $25 for Batavia nonresidents and $30 for nonresidents. Also new this year, per city ordinance, permit holders will be able to register up to 4 dogs with each additional dog costing $5, $6 and $7 respectively.

Permits for the 2009 season can be purchased in person at the Park District Civic Center, 327 W. Wilson St. A current shot history, including rabies, distemper, heartworm and fecal test for internal parasites, must be shown at the time of purchase. If you purchased a permit last year and your dog’s shots are still current, there is no need to submit the records again.
