Event Description

Come bring your corgi to test their herding instinct with a real flock of sheep! The trainer at the Canine Ranch in Canton will take them individually into the pen with the sheep to determine the dog's interest and talent. Each dog gets to herd the sheep multiple times. I know multiple people who have taken their dog and they say it is well worth it! Price is $30, but space is limited. Please RSVP to Avery Tomlinson's page or on the Georgia Corgi's group site. I'm afraid there might be someone who could come that doesn't recognize Canine Ranch as being in Georgia. No biggie. I think the December event has Atlanta or Smyrna listed. Can't wait for Sunday!

Comment by Avery on November 9, 2010 at 10:59am: UPDATE: Hello everyone! Rain is not expected this weekend, however, you never know. If it is raining hard, then we will have to reschedule. I called Canine Ranch this morning to confirm our date this Sunday, Nov 14, at 2 pm. It is $30 per dog, and you don't need to bring anything except a water bowl, water, snacks if needed for your dog. This is going to be great! You pay when you get there. I have Loki, Gracie, Duchess, Twinkie, Rosebud, Lucy, and Ruby signed up. We could still fit maybe 1-2 dogs into the session but they would have to let me know. So if you know of any other corgis that want to come, contact me. See you all this weekend!
