Do all Corgis have white paws?

Both of my Corgis have white feet. Rosie has white socks on three of her legs with white paws and one back leg with a white paw and no white sock. She is tri-colored otherwise. My puppy, George, has two white socks and four white paws. Do all Corgi's have white paws and/or white socks?

Wow, I need to see the Tostitos-smell for myself (or mabye not).

Cheez-it's left-front paw is white but the others are red but they do have a few little stay white hairs here and there. He is a most-bizarre color from what I can tell. His mother is from all red/whites for the last 10 generations and his father is half red/white and half tri and intrestingly enough they all seem to have 4 white paws from the pictures I have seen.

He's still a pup, he probably just has some more color-changing to do?

His feet do in fact smell like Tostitos!
I never realized how much Tostitos smell like stale-pee.
So mabye I should stop eating Tostitos.
I'll probably just stop smelling stale-pee.

I do believe your not smelling pee. Dogs sweat from the bottom of their feet as well as their noses. So, I guess you are smelling his b.o.

I have yet to smell Grover's paws, but with the possiblity that it could be pee, I think I might have to take everyone else's word for it! :)

*Breaking puppy-feets news update*
I was so curious about this occurance that I called and asked my dr.vet friend and she said that the cause is not pee! (Good news, those of us who have smelled them can sleep now). The wrinkles and natural crevices on the dog-toes are moisture pockets and combined with low airflow they are perfect for harboring yeast-bacteria. (Hence the Corn smell). She said the bacteria was called pseudomonas
(spelling?). Anyway, it does not mean the dog has dirty-germ feet it's just the usual bacteria on everything around us in a more concentrated supply due to the conditions of the environment. She called it "Sleepy Feet" because apparently the smell fades with dog-activity and recurs when the dog sleeps. I am going to test this theory, but I have to question if I "really" want to smell excercised-dog feet.

Thanks James! That's ver interesting to know. So, you're saying that even if I could stop Charlie from stepping in his pee puddle, he would still have Frito Feet. Hmmm. : - )

Just an added tip for folks who may not be aware. The long fur between a Corgis paw pads should be trimmed back as part of regular grooming to minimize fungus/bacterial growth. I've always had good success using the type of scissors with a rounded tip that men use to trim nose/ear hair. : - )
