Help! My Frodo puked!

Frodo didn't eat much today. Just a moment ago, after a nap, he vomited and threw up most of what he ate today.
He is 10.5-week old. We brought him home last Sunday.
He is pretty active today, doesn't look uncomfortable or upset.
We gave him deworming drug and applied Frontline ( Flea control solution) onto his neck last night. Is it due to the side effect of those drugs?
What he has been eating is typical dry puppy food. After he puked out everything, I soaked some dry food in water and warmed them up. He likes this kind of soft food much better and ate all of them.
What happened to my Frodo? Should I take him to the vet tomorrow? Should I keep feeding him the soaked warm food for a while?

Hi Angela!
Don't panic...I'm sure Frodo (and what a cute name that is!) will be OK. The folks who really know their stuff should be posting soon.
From my own experience, Sid went through an upset tummy not long after we brought him home. We called the vet and they told us to give him a very bland diet which could consist of the following: boiled (not canned or roasted) chicken, boiled rice, and/or cottage cheese. We fed this to him for a few days and he was back to normal in no time.

Is he eating the same food he ate before you took him home?

It will probably make you feel better to at least call your vet in the morning. They'll tell you what to do.

My dogs seem to act a little "off" after a Frontline application. Maybe the combo of that and the de-worming did make him a bit queasy.

did you read the side effects for frontline? Revolution can induce vomitting and loss of appetite and it is a flea and heartworm medication so its very possible that the drugs are effecting him.

I would just monitor him closely for the next 24 hours. If he has solid poop and no more vomiting and seems otherwise happy and playful, then it could have been just a puppy upset tummy, or from the wormer or the Frontline. If you notice diarrhea and/or more vomiting, then I would switch him to a bland boiled skinless chicken and rice diet and call the vet.

Thank you very much, guys! Frodo is doing better. He didn't vomit again ever since, but still not having a good appetite. He is active and playful, and his poop is fine. Probably it is a drug side effect.
