Both my little pemmies came from this rescue organization (Ginny a rescue from a Puppy Mill where 80 corgis were rescued from cages in the back of a truck and Duffy who had been kept in the backyard for his 18 months of life). They do extensive rehabilitation and vet work on each rescue and really try and match the right person with the right corgi.

We got our little guy from here as well. Like Ginny, Ronan (the corgi formerly known as Timmy) was taken from a puppy mill. Julie Yamane (clcjmy@comcast.net) who works with Lynn was the first to contact me with info I had requested and sent along a pretty detailed questionnaire which shows that they really want to place their corgis with well-matched people. They're very honest about any needs that the corgis may have and won't allow them to be adopted unless they're ready (this can take awhile since some rehab time may be necessary). Lynn cautioned us that Ronan was a "hooligan" - she was right and we love him for it.
I just checked their website and saw a couple of new corgis in need of homes. Just thought I'd pass the link along: http://www.coloradocorgi.org/rescuenow.html
They have a great reputation. If I hadn't come across Starbuck I would have loved to rescue from them.
I was lucky enuf to stumble onto Joey this summer while trying to replace my departed Sheltie......Joey had been listed in petfinder as a "sheltie"........good grief!! He was so cute that I enquired and met Joey and his "guardian". She had fostered him when his birth family couldn't keep him. Joey is 9 and a complete surprise and joy to me. I have always been a Sheltie owner (and DO have ANOTHER Sheltie now) but I wonder where Pembroke Corgis were all my life!!! Joey had been on Misha May's as a "courtesy listing"---my vet believes Joey has early stages of "pemphigus" and is being treated with cortisone.
Come see my pictures of "Little Joey" here.........
