This probably doesn't really count, since it's a not-real person who is now a non-owner of corgis, but...

On NCIS last night, Ducky admitted that he -- ta da! -- misses the corgis! Since he got rid of those miserable creatures as soon his mother died, it's a major step in his (imaginary) emotional growth.

Norman sure was a cutie, unfoutunatley he passed away early this summer. RIP in Peace Norman.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the Governor of California has a Corgi - Sutter Brown
