Neat?

Is your corgi neat? Or is it just Freya's thing? I put her bedding in her kennel and I turn around and she pushed it so that all four corners are covered as well as her toys and food bowl (if it is in there.)

She makes it neat. Her toy is usually propped up like most humans have their teddys propped. It's funny and cute. I wonder if I got a girly pup.

Tell me about it. I don't know if it is her attempt to "bury" her food and items or what. She is the most unique dog I have ever had.

Well, my Corgi doesn't do it (he's a boy) but my other dog, Whippet/Shepard mix does something like that. She's a girl. She will pick up her toys and put them in her bed, all in the middle. I thought it was just a territorial thing, like she didn't want any one playing with her toys, but she doesn't seem to care about the toys being scatterd all day long. Only towards bedtime. And before she lays down, she pushes the lumps in her bedding down. My Corgi, the boy, does just the opposite! He messes everything up. If I have just made up his bedding to be nice and neat, he digs in it with his nose and messes it all up...then only lays half way on it. Maybe it's just a girl thing? But even my girl doesn't get as neat with her things as Freya does. It is kind of "freaky" how she props up her toys. I think that would haunt my dreams...a little dog toy staring at me, sitting up straight, beady little black eyes.....(chills)

Lol, that's funny! Yeah, I thought it was odd. But she's definitely not like any dog I've ever had so I'm continuing to think she will surprise me.

Just make sure you don't wake up in the middle of the night with her standing over you "I told you mommy to NOT touch my toys"

*Shivers* I dare hope not. I hope to never wake up like that---creepy. Of course, at the moment the chances are very slim that she can jump up on the loft bed.
