What do your pups eat?
I have tried many different dog foods tryign to find one that both my pups like. Megan likes everything so we have never had a trouble buying dog food for her, right now she is on purina senior. My puppies on the other hand arent so easy. We have tried Purina Puppy Chow, Iams, The Good Life (which they are on now). Neither of them liked Purina Puppy Chow as a matter of fact they HATED it, would even try to eat it until they were starving. Iams they would eat but you know those kind of food were you will eat it but you dont really like it? well that is what they were like. Now they are on The Good Life, Trevor loves it but abby wont eat it. Today she didnt eat breakfeast or lunch she wouldnt eat dinner until i put wet puppy food in it. So i guess i was woundering what you fed you puppy and he liked?

The breeder had started Rhett on Puppy Chow, but I wanted to change him to a food that had less fillers in it. So right now I'm working on transitioning him to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul. Rhett loves it, and its filled with all kinds of good stuff and no wheat, corn, so on! However, Rhett also LOVES Bil-Jac. I know that a lot of people are worried about foods filled with fillers, and unfortunately it has corn as a primary ingredient but Rhett LOVES it. He'll tear through a bowl of Bil-Jac if I let him!

We have all our dogs on Canidae All Life Stages dog food. Charlie's mom directed me to it. (Thanks Chris!) Before we had five dogs--five different kinds of food. the dogs love it! We are in the process of transitioning the new puppy to it as well. He seems to prefer it. So far so good. I also buy the Canidae Biscuits as a treat.

Lola loves the Canidae All life stages dry food, mixed with Canidae canned (chicken and rice). We tried so many different kinds before she decided she likes this one.

The breeder started my corgi on Royal Canin Medium Breed-Puppy. It's really good quality and she likes it.

Wow, I haven't heard of most of these brands people are talking about. I do know to stay away from the ones with corn as the main ingredient. No nutrition and makes your dog fat. Sooo, I was feeding them Purina and Beneful for a long time before I realized corn was like the first 5 ingredients in each one. lol! What's up with all the veggie pics on the front of beneful? Should just have ears of corn. :) So we changed it to Nutro Max which I think still has corn but it's not in the first 5 ingredients so I feel better about it. It's a little more expensive but much better for them and it has glucosamine in the one I'm using to help with Ein's hips. It really makes a difference.

i had started a discussion about raw food, and we finally gave winnie her first raw dinner last night (using the medalians from natures variety.) I have never seem my dog eat so fast. She loved it. We are doing blue buffalo (or is it buffalo blue) puppy food (the chicken and rice one) and she likes it but she has a hard time keeping the round kibble in her mouth. we have tried the lamb and fish one too, but she doesn't like that as much.
