We are adopting a second corgi.  I am wondering if anyone has advice on how to successfully bring the new dog into the family?

The two dogs have met already.  Things went pretty well. Cici (our current dog) was a bit shy but not terrified. He (Buddy) likes other dogs, and cats. He is pretty laid back and easy going.

He is currently not neutered, but not aggressive, or dominant. He seems to go with the flow. (His neuter appointment is in a week.)

We are also planning on renaming him as well. He doesn’t answer well to his current name. We used positive training for Cici  it worked great. She responds well, knowing  that her name always means good things.  I am hoping that positive re-training will make a difference.

We have two separate crates, two sets of food bowls, beds…etc.

What else do we need to do?
