Kuma is now about 3 months old. I have enrolled him in a Sport Puppy class. I was hoping to get him into agility, obedience trials, possibly rally. I like tracking as well, but I am not sure if the Corgi breed is right for that type of event. Also, I am wondering if this is too much for one dog. He has spent 2 weeks in the class so far and is working towards small puppy agility courses. The trainer that we have currently wants to wait until his growth plates are done growing, so he has no risk of injury. I have no problem with this, as his health is best. He is also currently being clicker trained. Anyone have any tips of other events of interest for Corgis?

Tracking is actually one of the events Corgis are allowed to participate in, and many excel!  It honestly depends on the dog as to whether it's too much or not.  The PWCCA gives out a special award to dogs that title in 3 of the 4: herding, agility, obedience, and tracking. :]  While you can't compete for a title, Corgis LOOOVE lure coursing, but is probably another activity to be avoided until he's fully grown. It can get pretty intense chasing that lure!
